Our Process

Step 1) INITIAL CONSULTATION & EXPERT SURVEY

Simply contact us with your requirement and we will efficiently arrange a survey with one of our roofing experts

Step 2) QUOTATION & TECHNICAL SURVEY

We will send you a free no obligation quotation within 48 hours of the survey. Upon acceptance we will carry out a technical survey and will instruct one of our teams to carry out the works agreed.

Step 3) QUALITY ASSURANCE & FINAL PRODUCT

We will regularly inspect the progress of the work and once completed we will then carry out a quality check to ensure the work is to our standards. Payment is then required upon satisfactory completion and all warranties are issued on receipt of payment

    Are there any roofing services which you do not offer?

    Yes, but only two areas. Sometimes, we are better leaving more specialist areas to the real experts. Being a very niche market, we do not install or repair thatched roofs. We also do not install felt roofs, this is simply because we truly believe that EPDM rubber roofing is a much better all round roofing material of which the features and benefits outweigh those of felt roofing.     How much will I pay for a home visit?

    GM Roofing offer a free, no obligation survey and quotation service. Our friendly customer care team will arrange an appointment with one of the company directors who will visit you at home to discuss your requirements. A survey of the work to be carried out will be conducted and from this we will produce a detailed quotation for you, all free of charge.

    What guarantee do GM Roofing provide for a traditional roof?

    GM Roofing provides all customers with a comprehensive 10 year guarantee which covers all work completed. Should you encounter any quality issues, general concerns or you would simply like to discuss your installation with someone, our friendly customer care team are always available to help and advise, even when the guarantee has expired.

    Is there any traditional roofing which you are unable to help with?

    GM Roofing are experts in traditional slate and tiled roofing. We fully guarantee each installation and our mission is to achieve complete customer satisfaction, therefore we prefer to refer some specialised roofing such as:-

    • Thatched roofing
    • Felt roofing
    • Fire glass roofing
    • Bradstone tiled roofing

    GM Roofing work with specialised roofing companies and will always help customers to find a suitable roofing company to complete their bespoke installation.

    Can you re roof a slate roof?

    Yes, we are able to source different grades of slate from the UK and Europe. Old traditional roofing was installed using a non breathable felt membrane, our new installations use a new breathable felt membrane which prevents condensation issues.

    Will any leadwork need replacing?

    Some leadwork may have split and come away, we would highly recommend replacing this as detailed in your individual quotation.
